Walked on to the Princeton Track and Field team as a freshman in 2001 for a short, one season stint in Division 1 athletics. This is the only record of it besides the persistent requests for alumni donations from the Princeton Athletic Department.
Like all washed up middle distance runners, I took to running marathons. After qualifying in Budapest in 2004, I ran my first Boston Marathon in 2005.
Qualified for Boston again at the California International Marathon in 2006, after a quick warm-up at the San Jose Rock-n-Roll Half Marathon, and ran the race in 2007.
